Description

Ribbon mahogany veneer is also known as ribbon striped mahogany wood veneer. It will accept stains and finishes well which accentuate the ribbon stripe figure. Ribbon stripe African mahogany is a very rich and formal veneer choice for a moderate price.

Standard A grade ribbon mahogany veneer commonly allows for some small defects such as occasional pin knots and small grain deflections. It is usually book matched with the grain running along the 8’ dimension. It is known for its prominent and lustrous ribbon stripe figure which is produced when the logs are quartered.
