Anigre Veneer

Anigre veneer is typically a blonde, light yellowish-brown to pinkish cream wood that ages to a golden brown color. Anigre is a hardwood of medium density and has occasional light silica inclusions. It has a fine to medium texture with tight pores but at times has been known to be coarse. This veneer accepts stains and finishes well. No figure is uniform and rather plain. Medium and high figures are lustrous and striking in appearance.

WiseWood’s anigre veneer products include flexible sheets and edge banding. The veneer sheets come available in multiple figures and backer options, including 3M™ PSA. The edge banding comes unfinished and is available in pre-glued and fleeceback options.
