Standard A grade ribbon mahogany veneer commonly allows for some small defects such as occasional pin knots and small grain deflections. It is usually book matched with the grain running along the 8’ dimension. It is known for its prominent and lustrous ribbon stripe figure which is produced when the logs are quartered.
