Pecan Veneer

Pecan veneer has a distinct light sapwood and dark heartwood appearance. It tends to be more uniformly darker, but may include small areas of the contrasting pale yellow beige sapwood. Pecan is a hardwood that is dense, strong, with a medium coarse texture and moderately porous grain. It accepts stains and finishes well but is usually finished with a clear coat to preserves the wood’s warmth and beauty.
