Flat cut birch wood veneer is sometimes referred to as flat cut white birch or plain sliced birch. A common grain characteristic of flat cut white birch wood veneer is a slight figure or flashing. It will accepts stains and finishes well and is often stained with bold colors or to mimic other species.
Standard A grade white birch wood veneer commonly allows for some defects such as occasional pin knots and very slight mineral streaks. It is usually book matched with the grain running along the 8’ dimension.
